Truth be told, I have been looking forward to writing this first post for a while now. Getting this blog up and running, customizing the layout and the theme, has been a great time. It’s given me a chance to really get a good understanding of how much I really know about WordPress, as well as how much more there is to learn.
The answer to both questions actually turned out to be “More than I thought.” Which is a good thing, for a couple of reasons.
You see, as much as this blog is an opportunity to share information and advice on using WordPress, I do have a completely separate and selfish ulterior motive… and that is to push myself to learn more. The more I learn about WordPress, the more I discover there is for me to still figure out. From using WordPress itself to mastering the arts of HTML, CSS, PHP, and more there is enough raw information out there to keep anyone busy for a lifetime.
This blog is my way of driving my own learning process and sharing with others at the same time. So let me know what’s bothering you, whether you have a blog, want a blog or aren’t quite sure what this whole WordPress ordeal is about yet. Read a couple of posts, leave your feedback and by all means, ask as many questions as you want. I look forward to finding you the answers!
